Remember that cupcake stall we had in Week 3? They were delicious and we asked donations of 80c from women and $1 from men to get the conversation started about the gender pay gap? Well today Amy handed over the cheque to the International Women’s Development Agency ‘s Rusalka Rubio Perez for $168 . $160 is a month’s salary for a teacher at the Karen Women’s Leadership School on the Thai Burma border, so hopefully Bluestockings Week can affect women’s education opportunities way beyond Melbourne Uni! 
Next week we will be presenting our petition to the University, so this is our LAST CHANCE to get as many extra signatures as we can on the online petition to print out in addition to all the pages we got people to sign during Bluestockings Week! Spread it round!
